Zilin Jia is a PhD student at the Centre for Culture, Communication and Media at the Institute of Education, University College London. She holds an MA in Translation Studies and BAs in English and Economics. Her research interests span (critical) interactional competence, human-AI interaction, intercultural communication, self-directed learning, and longitudinal interactional analysis.
